Another Great Trip

Thanks to the 8th Graders and chaperones to another wonderful trip to Washington, D.C.! Everyone represented Lakeview well. Check back for pictures. Thursday Meeting

Our final D.C. meeting will be this Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Lakeview! It is important for each student attending the trip and at least one parent or guardian to attend this meeting! We will be going over the itinerary, final details, and any questions you may have. The meeting should last between 30 and 45 minutes, depending how many questions there are. See you tomorrow!

Welcome Back!

Welcome back, 8th graders! I hope you had a wonderful summer! We're gearing up for a great trip to D.C.! Our last informational meeting for you and your parents will be Thursday, September 17 at 6:30. We will cover the itinerary, expectations and any questions you or your parents may have. Stay tuned to announcements, as we will meet briefly in the next week or so for you to select a meal for one of our dinners. As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions! Roommates

As we are approaching the end of the year, students will need to sign up for their hotel roommates. We spend very little time in the hotel rooms. We will be having a brief meeting tomorrow morning before school to layout the guidelines for hotel roommates. Students will need to pick roommates before the end of the school year or they will be assigned to rooms. As always, feel free to contact me with questions!

Room Still Available

There is still travel room available for the 8th Grade 2009 Washington, D.C. trip! It is not too late to register! Please contact me if you have any questions or would like more information. Students that have already signed up should start to think about their hotel room, as they will need to be picking roommates in the next few weeks.

I hope everyone had a great spring break! Although the deadline to sign up for the Washington, D.C. trip is not until April 13, spots are filling up quickly! Registration is on a first come, first served basis.

You can register online at http://www.educationaltours.com/. Lakeview's registration code is: 061-75816. You can also mail in the form from the Educational Tours packet that was mailed to your house.
